Healing
We all have a new appreciation for life now. I know Chris and I are seizing the moment like never before. The house is a lot messier, but we are enjoying each other a lot more! And most of you know, letting the house go a bit is a huge departure from my 'regular' routine.
Here are a few images from this week...
Uncle Kevin came for dinner. We also played in the yard.

Jimmie has made us laugh - lots! He even jumped in his pool fully clothed. He gets that from his Aunt Mary Ellen who, word has it, went into the lake fully clothed just a few weeks ago. I wish I had a picture of that!

Last night we actually got his swimsuit on BEFORE he got in the pool. This time he decided the pool was too cold, so he swam in the bathtub...

The new kitten, Shy, has made us laugh as well.

We're coming to terms with what happened last week. We know it will be a slow process, but we are finding the joy in our everyday life.

Thank God for kittens and babies! (Even the 12 year old ones)
For the record, "fully clothed" would mean the child had shorts on. It appears as though your child has, in Chuck's words, "White Trash Baby Syndrome" (ie: running around it just a diaper)
I prefer "Ghetto Baby."

Truth be told, he started out fully clothed and lost clothing on an average of one item per minute. I only thought to get the camera after the shorts had already bit the dust. I spared you all from the final pictures.

If I was sad or afraid, I would sit in a corner and sing. If I was happy I would jump into the middle of the room and sing. It was how I expressed my emotions.

Sorry dude, but we're in a boxing match and you went against your word and tried to make me look weak and stupid in front of 17 million people. That's just not gonna happen.
