Richie played his first All Star baseball game on Tuesday. Carolyn, Rick, Maggie, Allie and Kristen all came to watch! They lost, but it was a close game.

Sorry to hear that they lost the game. At least he was out there playing, that's always the best part. I always liked the snacks/treats after the game. It was so fun chugging the kool-aid and eating the cup cakes or whatever the parents brought.

At this camp I had the unique experience of showing all these seasoned Westerners that it was possible to make a fire by the friction of two sticks. This has long been a specialty of mine; I use a thong and a bow as the simplest way.
